    Hi all,

inspired by a conversation in the GB thread i would like to know what you use to protect your pinball blasses from dust.

Feel free to show me and us what you use

    I'll start with my towels.

Hope we can put some cool together and share ideas.

Not nearly as fun as yours but effective.

I'm afraid if I put anything on them, then the cats will use them as a bed, but since we aren't playing as much anymore I may start.

Before now, basically if one of my kids annoys me and gets in trouble they have to go dust all the pinballs...

The little black. Also cool, are them selfmade?

@silverball: i had to build in a new door to hold the cats away from the Pins. They sit in the glass and try to catch the balls -_-

I use spray foam window cleaner and a t-shirt once a week.

    This thread is weird

Windex...but about once every 6 months.

I use nothing, and it works just fine.

    Protect them from dust? Really?

I do a quick lineup sweep with a California car duster before i play, takes about a minute. I only windex after kids or drunk folks play. Seems weird to put on/take off covers just for a little dust.

I don't put any covers on my games.

I like seeing the games, not dust covers.

Depends on the play area for sure. Open ceiling basement creates a bit more dust so a little more than that...or whenever the paw marks appear.

I remember thinking that like 7 years ago when I first saw something similar here. But then game specific playing rugs were invented and it made me forget for a minute.

The first couple were bought from Marco. The rest were self made after seeing how easy they are to make.

I've got a 2 and 8 year old. So nope, they are their to protect the cabs mainly. I'm not going to be that dad that doesn't let his kids around the games (our arcade room is also our TV room).

I bought them on eBay. Some nice pieces you find at cafepress @londonpinball.
I saw you are from London. A part of my family lives there - looking forward to visit them next year.

BTT: my pinballs are in the basement with a door to the Outside. And next to my room is out barroom. So if i have friends over here and watching soccer or playing darts, they have to went out a couple times to go smoking. Also my dehumidifiers causes dust... so i don't want to clean the glasses every week.

Black fabric with magnets sewn in the top seam.

Don’t really like them as it’s an extra step to play. I play less when they are covered. I play more uncovered and left on all day.
