It appears in your first picture that your speaker wire connector and your remote volume connector are in the wrong positions. They are both 4 pin molex 0.156 connectors (the middle two out of the four)...

This. And gutz has circled the two connectors. They can be tricky because they are easy to swap. The remote volume connector on the sound board is keyed by a pin being removed. The cable that has three wires out of four matches the pinout.
