Just added WPC style flippers to the Blackout I'm redoing. The right flipper is working, left is not.

I have the correct voltages on the power supply and at the end of the wire for the two flipper coils. I have wire continuity from the PS to the flipper buttons and then buttons to the driver board.

With the game on I have +28vdc on all 3 lugs of the working coil. 2vdc on the 3 of the non working coil....again, if I de-solder the wire from the left, it reads +28vdc. So is my brand new coil bad on the left side ?

Easiest thing is probably to just try the coil on the other side and see if it functions. It does sound like a duff part.

Could be a bad diode, bad winding....

Cut power and read your ohms

Bad diode on the new coil, put another in and I'm playing. It's always the easiest fix....isn't it?
