Blackout: Inconsistent Orbits?

Does anyone else have problem having their orbit shots consistently counted as such? I know the switches are registering because I can get them to count when I move the spinners by hand. But when a ball goes through the left and then right spinners, and both of them get a nice solid spin going, I'd estimate about a 30% chance the orbit won't count. When over half of my orbit shots drain right down the middle, that kind of adds insult to injury.

The double-whammy of inconsistent orbits and drains right down the middle make me wonder: are orbit shots supposed to be this hard to complete? Is the game intentionally making me risk losing a ball just for the possibility of advancing the extra ball sequence one spot?

Orbit shots should not end w a SDTM drain. Maybe you game is too level. Try adding some pitch to the pf. I have three inch levelers cranked all the way up on the rear on mine.

I would suspect the left/entry switch. It may need to be cleaned and adjusted a tad. Are you using original boards? Zero ohm resistors on the switch section of the driver may help too.

Mine is inconsistent too but a lot of the time the upper right spinner just barely moves so I suspected there was just not enough spin to register. I am pretty sure if the upper right spinner gets a good spin it registers the Orbit Complete correctly. As for draining down the center, occasionally but not too often.
