My display is going, so I'm going to need to replace it. Has anyone replaced the display with a color display? Any thoughts? Thanks

I'll have to try that. I bought a new membrane switch, it didn't last long at all. I have been thinking about solutions, but mine were becoming very involved and complicated. This looks pretty simple, fast, and easy. Thanks
Just looking at the pictures, I would say that's where the wire goes. I'm away from my machine, so I can't look at it to verify.

The only things common to all three flippers is the Power Driver Board and the CPU. Make sure all the connectors are seated correctly on those boards.
I would be real surprised if three fuses are blown - the tech would/should have noticed.

The knocker is in the upper left of the head. It is what makes the noise when you win a game. It is a coil with a nylon tipped rod that strikes the roof of the cabinet to make the sound.
I've never seen a switch with the wire bent up like that. Are you sure the wireform is not installed upside down? Usually, the tale is pointing under the playfield.
Lift the hood and compare the wireform to other wireform switches.
I’ve got an error for switch 62 - backboard ramp. Has anyone found an easy way to get to that switch by themselves? (Sometimesgood help is hard to find ).
I can feel it, but I can’t see if a wire broke off. Thanks
Already tried folding the head. It doesn’t give access to the switch. It’s blocked by a light board and there’s not enough room to see or work around it.
I guess I’m going to have to lift the play field out and slide it forward. Pretty precarious position, but that looks like about the only option right now. Although I can’t imagine Bally thought something like that would be ok.
The cannon is also ready to fire when the light under the cannon comes on. Verify the display and the light under the cannon come on when the ball enters. Sometimes it takes a second or two for the ball to get to the right place. If the ball is in the hole and it doesn't fire, check the adjustment for the switch that activates when the ball is ready - its likely not closing when it should.
Take a close look at the schematics for the board. I’m going by memory, but I think some of those unused connectors are in parallel with the connectors that are used.
Check the diodes on the switches in the row and column of switch 71. You will need to lift one side of the diode before testing. You will likely find a bad diode.
I don't know the number of slam switches - the switch matrix only shows one. Did you lift the legs of the diodes and test them - all eight of them?
The switch for the fire button is a membrane switch. There is a supposed fix where you inject something into the membrane, but I never tried it, since several people tried and had no luck.
To me, the best bet would be to replace it with a switch, but there's a lot more engineering than I care to do. For mine, I went into the menu settings and allowed the left flipper button to act as the fire button.

The jackpot builds during game play, and on mine, it remembers the build into the next game. I haven’t looked, but I suspect that the operator can control that.
My machine came from an operator who didn't do any maintenance. It has black lightning flippers with the W logo on it.
Most likely you did nothing wrong. The corrosion around the battery pack has probably eaten into other areas on the circuit board and needs to be cleaned up and the board repaired.
Nerd925 - take a close look at the battery holder - one of the "buttons" inside the holder fell out on my machine, so the board was not getting the 4.5 VDC from the batteries. Just a thought based on past experience. Good Luck1
