I have a Black Rose where the cannon just does not travel the whole way. It comes up short about two inches to the right and 1 inch to the left.

Seems like there's a lot of slop in the mechanism. The motor seems to be working fine, and when disconnected the compass is free traveling. I've removed all of the old grease and added new grease. It moves smoothly by hand.

The mechanism looks to be correct. I've taken video of what it's doing. Do I need a new motor? Rebuild this one if even possible? Any suggestions are appreciated!
