Black Pyramid
Bally, 1984The star Rollovers on my Black Pyramid are not centered in the lanes... they are more to the outside of each lane...
as a consequence of this design... not every ball hit up the lane will trigger the rollover switch... I have adjust the switch so that even the slightest pressure scores...
Is this the same on all of the Black Pyramids? is this a design flaw? any way to fix this?
That's by design most of the bally games that have that type of lane put it to the outside - the thinking is you're going to be hugging the rail as it goes up the lane.
You might need to adjust the metal rail for more or less space as it's going up depending on where its missing.
Also, the rollover should have a switch capacitor on it, it might need to be replaced. Its function is to help the mpu detect fast activations.
Where is the capacitor and what is the value I would need... that could be the issue with some of the misses... cause it works fine when I test it...
