Joined the le club. I have no luck with Stern. Paid 9k nib and the front decal needs to be replaced, missing screw for ball mech that is mia, found a post screw that I have no idea where it goes and lastly played it and a black painted screw just slid down the playfield. And I have no idea where it came from or goes. Contacted vender and hes contacting stern for a decal. It looks like paint was still wet when they banded it and it crept up behind decal and poof! I love the game otherwise and I will replace the decal when I get it. Sad truth is I had to do front decal on Star trek and Kiss when I bought them nib. I am cursed

Thanks for the tips. I am going to put a playfield protector on it, so when I take it apart I am guessing I will see what they go to. I absolutely love this game. I am not mad at Stern. It just is a letdown. This is my new favorite Stern. It is a blast to shoot and play. I dont why the hate or lack of interest comes from? The distributor has a few les in stock and that suprised me. I bought it. I even found a topper from another distributor and it is on its way. I loved original black knight so that pushed me into this game heavy. Not disappointed. I will never sell or trade it. I will post pictures of the missing part locations if I find them. Again thanks for the tips.

Heat gun and they come right off. Clean off glue residue and makes sure the wood is spotless clean or it will show up under decal. Dirt or lint.

If anyone is looking for topper the Game exchange in Colorado had the topper in stock!I got it today. I dont get the games lack of interest? It plays great and has fantastic touches in art and music. The throw back mode is amazing and its a fun game to play. Absolutely love this game.

When I ordered it they still showed them in stock. It looks like they are now out of stock now. Google the part number for topper shown on my invoice. Thats how I found it online. Looks like I got lucky.

Shout out to Stern for new decal and automated services for getting it to me for the front cabinet one that was bad. And I might be nuts, but this is my favorite Stern game that they have made.

Installed playfield protector and I still do not see where that post screw went. I am guessing it was left back corner and they dropped it into cabinet and just got another one. There are no empty spots or holes so??

It takes about an hour with a heat gun for whole job.

When I removed my upper playfield to install a playfield protector I reinstalled it and that flipper would stick. The playfield was just slightly shifted. I loosened the screws and moved the playfield around and found the spot where it no longer got hung up and tightened the screws. I am betting your playfield just needs to be shifted.

I love black knight. Its just fun. I sold my Le to start a business and picked up a pro in a trade a few weeks ago. I have artistic dementia and could not help myself. I made a three headed dragon that the left vuk launches the ball into the mouth and feeds to right flipper. I then added a left return rail that the left ramp feeds back to left flipper just to break up the 3 shots to right. I had to move the spinner to wireform for space issues, but I like it. I figured I would share this mod in the owners club. I could make a basic set of left and right rails not as crazy as the dragons if anyone is interested in something like that please pm me.
