Anyone find a Topper for less than $500??? Seems like all the distributors took their price up to $500+shipping.
It's awesome to see you guys getting your toppers! The next batch arriving in Australia won't be until mid September. I have my name on one though

I was going to say cointaker. Just last week it was $449 now it's $499. Everyone is going to milk that cow for all it's worth.

Mine was $449 in March from LSOG. Guess you pay extra now for waiting.
2 questions ...
#1. Anyone know where I can find a good leg light kit ?
#2. My shaker just started ‘whistling’ when it shakes.. can I grease it or something ? If so what kind ?

Both my AC⚡️DC and BKSOR shaker are starting to squeak (is fall it more of a squeak than a whistle). I assume it means a little oil on the rotating assembly of the motor but I haven’t gotten in there to check it out.
My BKSOR legs were squeaking too. Really annoying when nudging for upper playfield shots. Tightened them up more than I thought I’d need to and they are quiet for now.
My STPro Vault shaker has started to squeak after a little more than a year/700 plays so I'm really interested to know if this is something I can service myself (I haven't cracked the shaker open yet to investigate). So far, my BKSOR Premium shaker is doing well after ~500 plays.
I have found that usually the shaker just needs to be tightened down to the cabinet when it gets noisy. Sometimes the cross bolt that goes across the top of the shaker can be tightened a bit too.
Probably not a big deal but watching Tim’s interview, at 40:10 he mentions flipper code to show the full credits.
Anyone know what the code is?
Perhaps other codes of sort of Easter egg stuff like Munsters, etc?

Joined? That's an LE, your setting at the "Round Table" Sir. PeterG

How long did you have to wait?
Quoted from Crile1:Ordered mid April LSOG.
Mines still somewhere in transit thanks to slow-arse covid shipping we are currently experiencing with Priority Mail Intl. If I had any inkling at the time I'd have paid the upgrade to EMS like I'm doing with everything else I order at the moment.
Some questions, playing my BKSOR for the first time. What is the best pitch for this game? And is the ball always going to hit the top of the slings when comming from the right orbit? Also the flail shot when you do not make that up top it will result in a STDM.
Quoted from waldo34:Shouldn't the head be attached? Received this as an extra. Planned to sell to raise funds for a Star Wars topper but now I am thinking may have to return. Anyone else have it arrive this way? Looks like they forget to screw it down.

yes it should be.

Of course. To get the new Sound Test Mode (Mixer?) in.

Great news. I actually really enjoy the code now, but I wish there was incentive to hit pops/spinner outside of Super Features.
I’m thinking something like Gappa Angry in EHOH. Give me a mini-wizard mode that makes me hit shots I usually ignore (pops/spinner).

I usually ignore all shots other than going up top and hitting sky loops to crank my monster hits

Yeah, and to me, that’s a problem if your goal is defeating the Black Knight. The current code limits real estate.

Pro model for the win!

I just ordered one on cointaker last wednesday 8/19 and received it yesterday.

Great American pinball has his ad still up for topper for 500 shipped. I got one last week from him.
I’ve had my BKSOR premium for a few weeks, got it nib. Is it normal to have your playfield pitted with dimples after such a short time period? After the first week I really noticed it was dimpling fast. Is this normal for BKSOR? The table has particularly violent ball action due to the layout. I’ve never had so many balls hit the glass or bounce over the flippers. Balls tend to bounce all over the playfield, no doubt what’s causing the majority of the dimpling. Any pointers besides being a better player and not bricking my shots lol.

Dimples are normal.
Change your flipper setting to medium vs hard. All shots are still make-able and will help with airballs.

Obviously dimpling is to be expected I just didn’t think it would be so bad after a week of play. It looks like a years worth of craters all
over the playfield. Flipper setting are currently on medium, that’s why i wondered if it was just normal due to the layout or I got a particularly “soft” table.

All new sterns have that. If you do not like it, get it clearcoated or get a playfield protector. Sorry.

My Iron Maiden (January build) is holding up just fine after 2 months of ownership. That’s why it’s got me thinking it was more the layout that was causing it combined with me being a low skill level player. If it’s gets too bad I’ll have it fixed no biggie, you pay to play!

That's excellent news - is there a link to an article or podcast where it's mentioned?
Is it me or are some of the callouts missing from previous updates? I feel like the taunts aren’t as varied as they should be. Are some of the old ones missing?

my advice. Borrow a friend. Lift the play field completely out of the cabinet (you don't need to disconnect it but you can just mark the connections) have a couple of stools to balance it on parallel to the game.
I start at the top and practise the alignment with the backing paper on. Then peel off the wide edge and focus on getting the angle and the hole and the top edge where it meets the inside of the cabinet (there is a wood piece there that if its too far back it won't stick flat, it should all be on the side of the play field and not on the lip at the top end.
I used soapy water in a spray gun first time I did it and wet the decals so they are easy to lift and recommend this for first timers but I've done it so many times I don't do this now. Watch out for the two little metal catches that centre the plafield when down. on one install I was a little too low so had to undo that and put it back in with the lip over the side blades.
Then put the playfield back in carefully with a friend.
Get a blue sharpie and write "side blades" on the metal bar the lockdown connects to. This is to remind you that they are there so when you lift the playfield in and out you take extra care.
twice I've tried to do it with the playfyield in the machine, twice I've had to order replacement decals

Lift playfield.Line a decal up and clamp around where apron would be. Lower playfield and pull out and set on service rails at full extension. Pick up on backside of decal and test lineup. Peel back and fold over the decal just past the bolt hole. (Keep the art from the bolt hole to apply after) then line up and stick so that it lines up mostly with the bolt hole but keeps a nice edge going all the way down to the end. Reposition till ya get the line right, then peel the backing off while pushing it to the cab. Once you get to where the playfield in the way, tear off the backing that’s been removed (so that you have room to get playfield in position) raise playfield again, remove clamp by apron and finish. Easy peasy... I’ve done a few of these without issue. I install mirror blades the same way.

Uh... Is that your private collection?
If so, why do you have both? You love the game that much?! XD
