Ok I'm in for an LE - who else?
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:I want to be in for an LE - does that count?
As long as you’re honourable.
In for a day one location LE at My Parents Basement, then will take it home after a couple months. Couldn’t be more excited, despite fact that I’m not an old school pinguy, don’t even enjoy the originals! (Blasphemy I know)
Damn....I wasnt gonna order anything....but fak, the artwork is amazing on all 3 versions this time. The shots look great!
LE Ordered
I need to play it first which means by the time I get to play it all the LE's will be sold out. I will no longer buy a game without test playing it first.
Quoted from ATLpb:As long as you’re honourable.
I try to always be anyway. Accordingly, I'm going to rescind my previous statement about wanting to buy an LE as I have now decided that I prefer the Premium's artwork. I'd be very happy indeed to settle for one of these and then pimp it out to an LE+ level as I've done with most of my other Sterns.
I said to a friend recently I wouldn't order a new pin without playing it first, but I'm going to eat those words. This one has so much going for it, I'm feeling pretty comfortable ordering this one without first playing it.
I'll be owning a premium
I've broken that rule also and especially after the disappointment of the munsters its high risk time. But Steve Richie and Tim Sexton are both epic folks so I'm confident as if it was a Lyman game. I'm seriously tempted to fly to MGC to play it.
I actually think the PRO is great value here.
Affordable and most features there.
Some people don't like upper pfs but I understand the nostalgic value here.
Still think Pro would be decent.

I just wonder if the pro will get virtual locks for the Prem/LE upper playfield or will it be like GOTLE where the castle mb is only in the Prem/LE versions. Could be a huge factor in this title IMHO for getting the premium instead of the pro.

I think thats the most interesting question is how they play differently, from what I am hearing most folks seem interested in the Premium/LE...
Neil.
Looking at the play field it looks like they designed the premium and then took stuff out for the Pro?
Quoted from NeilMcRae:Looking at the play field it looks like they designed the premium and then took stuff out for the Pro?
Yeah I agree with that. I think that the pro will be lacking on this one and might lean me to go premium which I haven’t done in awhile. Might have to play this before buying. I was going to grab a pro from Marco at MGC but might pass. Still debating.
Quoted from John_I:On the list for an LE... Last LE I bought was STLE.
You're known for good taste sir.
Quoted from Aniraf:Anyone know where to buy an LE?
I’ve got 2 LE’s left.
Give me a ring if seriously interested.

Quoted from newtoit:Have you guys made a deposit or paid for the machines yet or are they just reservations?
Deposit made on LE
You LE buyers rule!! I wish I could get myself to spend the money! It will be interesting to see if this sells out???
I want to order so badly, but I can't bring myself to sell SWLE until I can actually play one of these and know I love it.
Curiosity question here, and it really doesn't matter, but how often do people put games down listed in their collections before they actually have them? Do you do this as you put money down for a deposit or what? I just looked at the game listing for this on the machine database, and according to that, there's already 14 pinsiders with it.....

Never liked SW. I say go for it!

Once my deposit is sent I put it on my list. With a new Stern you’re only talking a few weeks before it’s in the lineup anyway so why does it matter?

If you look at the first sentence of my post, I did say it really doesn't matter and it was a curiosity question.....

As soon as I’ve committed to buy a game it goes on my list.

Agreed. This is a no brainer if you love extensive right flipper shots!
