So the pro has no upper pf. If you want the true black knight split playfield experience you gotta go prem or LE. Sure is pretty. Cant wait to see that knight toy in action.
Upper play field can be removed in one minute. The flipper doesn’t need to be removed. The upper playfield is made of Lexan, and can be cleaned, polished or replaced. - as per Steve Ritchie.
Good thinking.
I'm digging this game already.
Quoted from cosmokramer:Why another thread?...
Wait for the 10 "Should I get BK3" and "BK3 vs Munsters" threads lol.
Quoted from kidchrisso:You got the coin...
Fak, I wish. I just paid that DeadPool off......
Looks pretty amazing visually. I find it weird that they called it Sword of Rage and the knight as a flail, should have just used another name. Seems a little bit old guy juvenile for me, its like a Tenacious D knock off. Tenacious D is killer in small doses but I don't I think I can personally tolerate it in my home as I keep my pins for a long time. Looks like a must play on location and at shows though. I guess in fairness Steve Ritchie had this style long before Tenacious D but they have similar inspiration.
Quoted from orangegsx:Looks awesome. The no upper on the pro kinda sucks though.
Agreed. I understand why, but I can't help but feel like the game itself should have been designed around the split playfield like its predecessors.

That's why the first two suck to play.
Isn't this already the BK SOR thread?

I never did really enjoy the first two Black Knights. Not really sure how I feel about this game either. Excited to see a stream to see what it has to offer though.

Aren't pins and toys juvenile? I don't quite understand your point. Also, don't click on these threads if its not for you.

I'll click whatever I like thank you very much, you have an ignore button feel free to click it and anything else your heart desires. I don't know how better I can explain old guy juvenile. Its reference to guys at a certain age trying reminiscing there glory days. Back when their sword got raging hard and they rocked to bands like Anthrax. All good fun in small doses but also a little laughable. I'm not above it by any means, I fit squarely in that demographic, but I can have a chuckle at it.

This is the third pin in the series, yet its somehow its a Tenacious D knockoff? Interesting take!

If your going to get worked up over a post, at least read it in its entirety. I feel all Andy Dufresne but your just being obtuse.
Tenacious d is not an apt comparison. This is perfectly themed in continuation of the first two games. Tenacious d themselves are satirizing goth rock aesthetics so you can't really rip them off unless you're making another Satire band or lampooning the genre itself. All I know is that this may be the first new in box pin I'll buy.

I guess I’ll just quote myself.

Ok. That usually helps.
Either way, pin looks and sounds good IMO and no toy can satisfy everyone. I look forward to playing it..
Quoted from Gorgar666:So realistically when can we expect the premium....

I have been quoted late May to early June.
