Williams Black Knight sound not right ,Keeps repeating You win the right to challenge the black knight again , It says this just sitting idle and when you play a game. There are some other sounds during game play but they are not correct No background sound when game started .All sounds work correct in sound board test ,Caps changed on sound board and IC36 Pia Changed on Mpu .Thanks

Is it regular BK or BK2000? My whirlwind had the slightest bit of corrosion on 2 SCRs above the battery holder and it would sound possessed repeating “well looky here bye crackie, Whirlwind” over and over and in a demonic sounding voice. Cleaning the area and replacing the SCRs stopped all the issues I was having. Do you have any sign of acid anywhere? Even if it’s just a little it can be enough

For the missing background sound, first verify you have background sound enabled in the settings.

Any chance it's for sale? I could use the positive reinforcement!

Sounds like some of the signals from the driver board are not making it to the sound board.

Step 1 - reflow solder on the sound board headers (J3 specifically) and Driver board headers (J9 specifically). You really should do this to all header pins on all boards.

Run through sound test in Diagnostics (not the button on the sound board), pay attention to any numbers that do not trigger sounds.
