Consistent with what appears on the game flyer and other pictures posted on the internet, I have a long rubber ring installed between the post to the left of the left upper playfield flipper and the post below and slightly to the right of the multiball eject trough. I've noticed that installed that way, the left end of the rubber ring "interferes" with any ball shot up the left ramp and rolling into the upper playfield. On that shot, balls tend to bump on the left end of the rubber and slow down significantly.

Is anybody else's Black Knight set up differently? In a way that doesn't affect balls entering the upper playfield from the left ramp?

Maybe that's the way it was intended to work out of the factory - it just strikes me as a little odd.

Your thoughts?

Zacaj - yeah, although the tension on the existing ring seems right, I'm going to try one size smaller ring tomorrow. Maybe that will stretch it to the point where it won't extend into the playfield much.

An update - I substituted a 2" rubber ring for the 2-1/2" ring that came with my BK ring kit, and a ball travelling up the left ramp into the upper playfield is barely slowed down...
