Hi, I have a Black Knight that every time you turn it on it ejects a ball into the shooter lane. After that it plays all fine. It's like it is getting a phantom signal to fire the trough once upon power up. Any idea what could be causing this to happen? Thanks.

Is it instantly when the power switch is turned on, or is there any delay?

only put one ball in and see if it still does it. it may think there is in extra ball because of a stuck switch. it keeps balls up top and in ball trough. You could also remove all balls and see if there is a stuck switch in switch test mode.

It put one out instantly upon power up. The game play fine after that.

Almost sounds like a problem with the blanking circuit, allowing the coils to fire upon power-up. Usually that will blow the solenoid fuse on the power supply board, though. Next time you're in the backbox, I'd verify you have a 2.5a slow blow fuse installed for the coils at F2. It could be masking a problem if it's over-fused.

The fuse is correct. It doesn't try to fire all the coils only the trough one.

Does the game have original/williams boards or aftermarket?

These are original and this problem only just surfaced. It was always fine in the past.
