I had the same problem. The switches are supposed to be changed to cherry type switches. (Shown in online manual as a service bulletin.) No matter how much I cleaned the original non cherry switches they would still give trouble. Pinball resource sells the switch fix for About 20.00. That is for the ball locks but you probably need to replace the ball trough switches over as well. Then no more problems.
