Here are some pictures of the lighting mods I made to my Black Knight pin. The pictures aren’t excellent quality because my camera doesn’t handle LED lighting very well, and 99% of the lighting is now LED in my machine. Anyways, here is a list of the mods I made:

Added red and blue LED light bars to the left and right walls of the cab inside the playfield, one of which illuminates the shooter lane with a red glow.

Added a skull, dragon, and flame toy/prop that is LED illuminated (see pictures).

Added a white LED strip near center ball drain between the flippers. This is hidden from view but illuminates the lower playfield so the game can be played in the dark with no ambient lighting.

Added additional bayonet sockets under the plastic behind the upper left flipper that point at the upper playfield. This dramatically helps illuminate the upper playfield. Also added more bayonet sockets and LED’s under the blue plastic to the right of the right-most ramp and the plastic between the right ramps.

Added an adjustable 3-LED mount above the ball lock lane. The LED’s are blue and point at the pop bumper and gives it’s a blue glow.

Added a red LED light strip along the edge of the upper playfield overlooking the lower playfield.

Added a blue LED light bar over the left ramp. The LED bar faces down, the LED’s are hidden from view but reflect off of the ramp like a mirror and illuminates the entire ramp.

Added faux-neon light bars around the borders of the outer right lane.

Added a color changing GI LED in the bayonet socket in the U-turn. This casts a cool color changing glow in the hidden area under the U-turn.

Changed the 2x and 5x bonus multiplier playfield lights to violet. Personal choice, but its subtle and gives the lower playfield a bit more color. I also changed the magna-save lights to bright orange LED’s.

I still have the original bumper cap but its faded and dirty. I had this one lying around and liked how it looked with the transparent plastic and a super-bright red LED in the pop bumper.

Added, what I believe to be the correct decals on the blank drop targets.

Enjoy!

Those look like the correct drop target decals to me.

What about the spinner? Is that the correct spinner or did a previous owner swap one in from a different game? I thought BK's spinner was white and red. Maybe I'm wrong.
