I have done 3 coats of automotive clear, leveled everything out pretty good.

Not looking for perfection, but it's hazy

I have buffed with a cutting pad, then polishing pad, then finishing pad.

I used novus 2 and bc-2 auto Magic premium final finish wax and carnauba wax, and it's not quite finished, what do I do to bring the shine???

Thanks guys

Looks like the clear is not fully cured yet, so way too soon to buff.

Also while you are waiting, scuff up those inserts and fill those holes and dips with clear so the whole playfield is completely level.

After I fill those and ask it to level, should I lay another coat of clear... its got 3 coats on it...how long should I wait before I sand again after filling the holes? ... how long until I can buff after the paint application?

I don't think you will need another coat of clear.

3 is plenty.

Depends on the temp, the brand of clear, the speed of the hardener, if you added any fisheye eliminator crap to the mix..... do a fingernail test and wait until its hard.

Am I crazy or are your flipper bushings still installed?

Yeah, he should cut those things out before the clear gets too hard - and replace them.

I'm guessing those light sockets might be glued in place now too.

I'm replacing them, anytime I sprayed, I had a lamp in them

The flipper bushings are not glued in, I just have them in there to collect , they can be removed with out cutting

I'm headed to my shop to scuff the inserts and the low spots to once again fill them with clear...

I'll give it the weekend to cure and sand Monday
