It's not unusual to see the Black Knight with multiple weapons. The original BK shows a Mace, Sword, and Lance (BK shown holding a sword on the playfield and on a plastic [swords being a large focal point for the playfield in general]). In BKSR, it appears the Black Knight is holding a sword on the side of the head...I can't tell what he may have on the playfield toy (hoping both his arms move up and down to block shots...almost looks like at least the shield side is designed with that in mind). Perhaps alternate art will show him with a sword for those that want it to make more sense?

Looking better than I expected. Black Knight is one of my favorite games (unfortunately can't say the same about BK2K for the gameplay aspect). I wouldn't have wanted another attempt at the split playfield design (BK already perfected it the first time for me), so I'm at least glad to see there's a new direction here.
