I was playing the other day, and just in a middle of a normal game, the knocker went off in the cab, and all the flippers went dead...
The music and GI (and maybe the insert, im not really sure), still worked...
I turned off the machine rather quickly, and basically didnt have time to check more that day.

The next day i checked the fuses, and all are ok.
I turned it on again, and the only thing working is the GI. No display, or anything...

I opened the coin door and opened it, and i get the gi, and a beep beep beep contiuous from the speaker...

What did i mess up, and where do I start to look? Any tips a appreciated

Blown fuse, maybe a bad diode on a coil.

Did you check fuses by looking ? Or pulling them and checking with a meter ?

I had a similar experience one time with a loose ribbon cable. Good luck, BK2K is a great pin.

Could my roms have rotted after all these years?
Will something like this be probable to happen?
I have ordered a rom burner for other reasons, but i will update the roms in my machines while im at it, just hoping the roms are bad, that would be an easy fix, no fuses are blown

Probably not bad Roms. Sounds like there is an issue with the CPU getting power. Start by checking all your voltages coming off the CPU. 99 percent of my problems stem right from the power supply.

No, and do not change ROMS until the problem has been identified. If you change something, you introduce new variables into the troubleshooting equation. For instance if a new ROM is not working then you will now have 2 problems. A ROM all of a sudden just failing would be very unlikely. Probably the most likely is a failed cable, followed by a failed power supply. Start by checking power supply test points first.
