I am having a Black Knight 2000 multiball trough issue. When you load the trough to the upper left with two balls, the game should spit out a third ball into the shooter trough. It does not. It is like it doesn't know that the second ball is loaded in the trough. There is a narrow PCB board that the switches are soldered to, should I reflow the solder on that board? Other thoughts?

Start with a switch test to see if the machine sees the balls in the trough. You likely just need a physical switch adjustment.

Remember, all the troughs work together, so make sure all the switches are working properly. But by the description, the second switch in the upper trough is a good place to look.

First use the balls to activate the switches, then is some aren't working, use your fingers to see if they activate.

The instructions for the switch test are on page 31 of the manual: https://www.ipdb.org/files/311/Williams_1989_Black_Knight_2000_Manual.pdf
