what it means? idon't know where is the problem..
Have to look in the manual for Switch #23 to find the location. Probably in the u-turn loop behind the center drop targets.
Press it down with your finger to make sure it is working. If so it just needs to be adjusted.
Make sure the wire part of the switch is not sticking against the playfield.
Roll a ball over the switch to ensure the ball will activate the switch. If not, GENTLY bend the wire up until the ball activates the switch.
Quoted from igorr7:How could I change language to English?
I could be wrong, but I think on the later System 11s you have to switch out the ROMs with English versions. Is it just the text that's in German, or the speech as well?
Yes ... gweempose is right .. you can download the latest game and the English speech roms here:

Quoted from DrAzzy:Most people don't have a way to write to a ROM chip at home []
I know .. he might know a friend/tech/etc .. if not he can find them on any one of the many retail sites ready to install. I've burned a many of them for US Pinsiders myself as well as our members across the big pond doing them like Robin et al.

Had my manual handy. Switch 23 is on the upper playfield, toward the top right corner of the machine. It's the exit switch for the loop.
Quoted from Crash:Then there *should* be a way to switch the language. Right?
It sounds like he's got English sound and speech ROMs, but German CPU ROMs. The only way to change the display language to English is by swapping out U26 and U27 with English versions.
