If you put the appropriate coil like the factory a-4893 in the upkicker but it is a *little* too strong... the kicker arm rests against a rubber grommet. If it was replaced with one just slightly thicker or you slightly tweaked the bracket it is mounted in inward, it would reduce the stroke a tad and thus the power of the kick. But mine works perfectly with a Wms G-23-600 coil so I haven't tried that to see how much effect it would have, just a thought. Anyway, make sure that grommet hasn't crumbled away or fallen out of its hole as that would increase the stroke.
