Quoted from ChrisHibler:

The proper diode is a 1N4004.
If the fuse is blowing, it's likely that the big can transistor on the PBDB is shorted.
Swap in another PBDB to test.
Make sure you have the diode oriented in the correct direction/wires attached to the right lugs.

What is the PBDB and where is it located?

Quoted from KenLayton:

Pop Bumper Driver Board. It is located on the bottom side of the playfield. One board per pop bumper.

Much thanks.
