Really hope we can get this fixed for you onion.

Many of Steve's posts have helped me diagnosis and repair these things.

If you're comfortable taking the apron off, run the switch test again and move ball from the outhole to each ball position in the trough to make sure everything is good there.

Also, check j4 and j6 connections in the back box.

I do feel bad about this issue.

#9 is the lower pf kicker I believe.

Silly question, on ball one when you plunge it, does the rollover light at the top go out when the ball goes through? BH acts goofy if it doesn't see one of those 3 switches hit first.

Just full disclosure, this issue came up after the the pin was moved. My gut is thinking connection issue, but being thorough never hurts! I believe I left the pages for the fuse locations and some spare fuses in the coin box.

He shipped my order yesterday, hopefully yours goes soon too

Thank you for all your help Steve, it's very much appreciated.

I too hope all is well now

Which pops are taking fuses out?

Most every pop has new brackets, stops and some I put new coils in (a couple were burned up when I bought it) The pop bumper cards are all the updated design.

Since you know this game and what's been replaced, I'll step out of the way and back if needed.

Please continue to help, it's very much appreciated. I've learned so much from you here I'd be a fool to ask you to step away!!

Quoted from blownfuse:

Hmm. If solenoids, brackets & circuit boards associated with F12/13 have been replaced, there's nothing left that can go bad and blow fuses unless something replaced has failed. Where did the boards come from? The problem for me about newer foreign boards is that I don't know them for troubleshooting like I do the original boards. I'd still say to label the suspected boards and swap them to another bumper to see if the problem follows the board or stays with the solenoid. That'll tell you which area to work on fixing, board or solenoid.

System 80, not just a job, it's an adventure

They were pulled from a 80b parts machine I had. I don't recall if I had checked the header pins, so that's my bad.

Onion: The boards can be ID'd by looking at the wiring colors (if I remember correctly) of the activation switch at the pop to the connection.

Looks like I may have not done my diligence when doing the swap and checking the boards. I sent you a text.

The header pins are checked for cracks on the backside of the board.

Quoted from Yesh23:

how can I distinguish which bulbs are standard 44s and 455s blinkers behind the disk? If I recall there's a total of 12 bulbs behind the disk and I believe only 4 are 455s

The one I had they put all 455s behind the disk. You can just put the four spread out how you like
