Is there an easy way to remove the balls without taking the apron off?

#1291 7 years ago

Nevermind I figured it out

#1294 7 years ago

Yeah I did. I'm so used to data east which has an easy to reach one from under the playfield I didn't even think to look at the side

Anyone know why someone would run a wire with resistors on the ends between these 2 transistors and the fuse block?

Would that explain why my 313 lights won't light and my wireform actuator won't move?

#1312 6 years ago

Upper playfield. Must be the transistor. I think it's q19

#1313 6 years ago

Does anyone have a picture of the upper playfield wireform coil assembly? The one for the re-entry? I have to see if this is wired correctly. Mine has both wires on one lug

BH noob question. How do I remove the backglass to get to the infinity lights? I don't want to damage it and it's not a lift channel that I can see

#1337 6 years ago

Thanks! Any good reason to leave the shipping bracket on the top of the lamp board? Just wanting a more even light on the word"Hole" and the bracket runs right in the middle of it

I have an extra system 80 sound Speech Board with Black Hole sound chips. It was rebuilt with new caps and repairs and ground mods done to it. It gives me some issues with my connector needing to get reseated every so often. $125 plus shipping. It’s in the marketplace

I have a brand new Swemmer Sound Speech board with Black Hole chips and Swemmer sound speech power supply board if anyone is interested in the combo. Turns out I didn't need it.

Does anyone make a main disc? Mine is still nice but I’d love a nos or new one for vibrant color

Does anyone know the speaker size and ohm rating? Mine are dry rotted and coming apart

#1515 5 years ago
Quoted from DDandB-KID:

Hey! the speaker size is 6.5", 8ohm and low watts. i found some on Amazon for $5.00 each. You will pay more for the shipping then the speakers, but they fit and look age appropriate and sound fine.

Awesome! I thought they were 6” like the system 1 machines and was getting worried cause those are very hard to find

After over a year of owning it, I finally rolled over the score on Black Hole with a score of 1.483,480! Sadly once you go over 999999 it doesn’t register any higher and all the bonuses and such go back to zero to save it as a high score anymore. Time for a pascal board and 7 digit leds?

#1561 5 years ago

I have leds in mine and I want to go back to incandescent because leds don’t fade so it’s very much a strobe effect instead of a smooth wave like the original
