New to this club and have a problem. The ball trough release solenoid will fire one time at start of game to release ball 1 and this will blow fuse F16. I have checked and re-soldered connections to the solenoid and transistor. Transistor looks ok with multimeter as well as diode on the coil. Everything else in the game works perfect as I can play it if I manually release the ball. Any ideas?

CaffeineSlug I think you are right. Funny, I had just come to this conclusion and placed my order for new solenoid just before I read your post. Will report back.

Ok, new issue: lower playfield gi lights and power to flippers no longer coming on when ball enters. The gi and flippers work if I manually activate L relay. If I activate rollover from upper playfield then I get appropriate sounds indicating lower playfield actions. L relay is not getting triggered or powered I guess. Where should I check. FYI, it was working a few days ago. I did check all fuses and are good.

Edit: just realized that lamp test (test 16) will test the L relay. Will check to see if relay is getting powered when I get home. If so, guess I will check diode on the coil next. Coil has good resistance according to specs.

L relay coil has good resistance. Pretty sure it is getting voltage. Diode is fine. All connectors look good. Any suggestions as to why it isn't firing?

I have no idea. Checked continuity then Q18. Everything was good. Reconnected the board and poof, it worked. Must have been a loose connection somewhere. Thanks for your help.

I bought a replacement from @gbgemen and it worked perfect with no added parts. Even came with instructions.
