Just joined the club a few weeks ago. Couldn't pass up,the price was right, even though I have never played the game before. Finally got it setup & i must say, this game is freakin awesome!

What would cause my 2 bottom pf pop bumpers to keep blowing their fuses? I love this machine but it is a bear to work on!
So back to my lower pf pop bumpers blowing their fuse.
When I start a game it triggers 100 points on the lower pf and the fuses blow. I've checked the switches on the pop bumpers, they are fine. Not sure how to track this one down? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx.
They are original. And I thought about getting new ones and now I will. They're cheap enough. Thought it strange that both bumpers have seperate fuses. But yet, they are tied together. Both fuses pop. Ugh. I have breakers in there now for troubleshooting.

New pop bumper boards have fixed this issue. Thanks all.
I have no back box lights. On the board that has the spinning disk. I'm trying to figure out the schematics. What controls or powers these lights? Fyi. I do have lights on the outer glass. "The ones along the back box perimeter." Any help would be great. Thx.
My bad. Traced it back to the fuse. Schematics were just a tad tricky to follow. Thanks. Have a good one.
Welcome. This machine is a beast! I'm constantly working on it. And it's not easy to work on. It also pops fuses constantly. I keep it because it's a stunning looking machine and has interesting game play. Flip on and enjoy.
That's what happened to me involving the back box lights. Was a fuse. And the fuses are a bitch to get to on this machine. Beings the pf has no crutch to hold it up!
Quoted from radial_head:I did this for a bit until my BH playfield fell on me and nearly snapped my arm in half. I've only got one good one left so I've just gotten in the habit of putting the PF up in the full service position.
Yeah. Me too. I don't trust a foreign prop. Hell the normal props are shaky at best! Just need a step stool to work on the flippers.
Quoted from PantherCityPins:One other parts question. I notice there are several sources for 7 digit displays for system 80A games but I don't see as much for the 6 digit displays. Are they interchangeable? Can I replace my 6 digit displays with the newer 7 digit ones?
Search this thread. There are directions on how to do it. But yes. You can convert them to 7 digits. I got my pop bumper replacements at big daddy enterprise. $20 I think.
Quoted from PantherCityPins:Anyone have suggestions for rubber colors? I’m about to place my Titan order. My initial thought is clear or black with red flipper bands?
Check some prior posts above. There are some suggestions. I went with white. Black silicone post nuts.
