Unreal, I've never seen such damage to a plastic that wasn't caused by the sun. I couldn't even recognize it. Looks like Dave has what you need.

I also wondered how that plastic came to be so damaged. I wonder if the owner tried to flatten it using heat and it got too hot (started on fire maybe?). Not really sure.
At least we've identified the part and as it happens, it's a spare part, so I might be able to help with international relations between the US and France
From that angle, it looks like the plastic broke and the guy tried to use a torch to melt it back together, I guess it worked.
Steve
Ah, it did break and that was a "repair". The black and blue on the face of the plastic must be spray paint then, not torch damage.
Steve
The plastic piece is in the mail and on its way to France. It's not perfect but it's definitely better than what Lionel has.
Dave
Thanks Dave.

As discussed , let me know by PM your address for a surprise

I honestly can't believe it got there as fast as it did...I'm sure it's going to look great in his game and I was happy to send it to a fellow pinhead.
Dave
And to complete the story, today I got something in the mail from Lionel. Below is a picture of the box (looks like it took a bit of a beating on the way here) and the contents of the box.
Canada Dry is a game that was made for export to France as part of a marketing campaign. A copy of the backglass is now in my possesion.
Lionel, thank you for sending this. It wasn't necessary but is greatly appreciated. Now, I just need to get to France so I can play your Invaders game.
Dave
