Definitely following to see side-by-side comparisons in-game. Ideally, one half of the game would be original and the other half with Black Diamond. That way we could see not only the difference on the vertical surfaces, but also on the curved and sloped ramps.

I play in a darkened basement, so this isn't a HUGE need for me, but the projector is so central to the mood and visuals, that I would be in if it was a significant upgrade across all the target surfaces.

This is exactly what I was waiting to hear before deciding which set to do. Based on this, I'm in (for set 1 obviously).

Can anyone getting set 2 (with the ramps decals) respond as to why you're getting this set? Given that the quality appeared worse than the original, I'm curious why you all are getting the extra pieces.

Not a dig, just curious if I'm missing some obvious reason that I should consider the full set.

If you have found a successful ramp solution, then I'd like to switch to set 2 - the full set. I'll keep watching for more details.

How are people going about installing the new material? Just rip off the original and stick on the new stuff? Any need to prep the surface between? How forgiving is the application? I don't claim to have the steadiest hand.
