Black Belt
Bally, 1986Anyone with a black belt confirm if JW8 or JW9 should be in. Pinwiki and other guides lists JW8 but I think this is wrong as the switch matrix chart shows strobe six being used from J4 P1 (PIA1-PB14). I flipped through the bally manual and I don't see it mentioned.
Black belt owner confirmed it uses JW9. All the switches in the column (ST5) will not work if set to JW8.
JW8 IN = PB14 to sol Q9
JW9 IN = PB14 to switch strobe ST5
ST5 is empty per the switch matrix chart
Q9 is listed as "right gate"
JW8 is correct.
If JW9 = IN and JW8 = out then right gate would not function.
No, it is correct as is.
JW8 in routes PB14 to Q9 which is used in motordome
JW9 in routes PB14 to swittch strobe 5 which is NOT used in motordome.
Thank you so much for making that clear for me. I guess maybe some other games out there might have incorrect board setups with those jumpers
