Impressive undertaking! My pidly project of rebutting a Truck Stop is a joke compare to this!

Let me ask you: do you plan on tweaking the game code? I mean, now what about the red/orange/yellow skill shot?
WOW
What an awesome project. AWESOME.
I think the legs should be that powdercoat grey color.
Just like you took a black and white picture of a standard twilight zone.
Ha it's like the color is wrong on my screen...did you look into white coin returns instead of classic orange?
So cool. I constantly have to remind myself that I'm not looking at manipulated photos. Thanks for the updates!

Quoted from GAP:Coins slots will be white or clear.
Will have to change coin doors, or have them custom made, unfortunately. That brand of door only made them in that one color. (I know, I've looked..)
Quoted from GAP:I will have to have them made. Probably printed.
Ah cool - if you do, and don't mind making an extra one, I'll give a donation to the grey-tone fund.
I appreciate the work that has been done, I understand the concept. The Playfield doesn't lend itself to the deep blacks that are needed. The Cab looks fantastic. I would have to see the completed machine in person.
3D printing is doable for the coin slots, though a little pricy, I have replicated the different bezels for the Bally / WMS games of the 90s.

Quoted from GAP:Once the clearcoat is on the playfield it should make the grayscale playfield pop a little more.
A little, but it definitely would have benefited from vectorization and selective contrast, but that's a whole 'nother level of project.

I'm also in!

Yeah, I don't see these listed there on your site. GAP and my doors are (were) made by Entropy, and unlike Happ and Coin Controls, they only made the coin insert plastic and the coin return plastic (two pieces that fit together in the opening in the bezel) in one color - that day-glow transparent orange. The coin slot would be easy. The return button part though.. it's very detailed.
Quoted from Litedpinballmods:Looks great? What were your plans for the pop bumper caps? We have our Plasma Pop Bumpers available in both white and black. If interested, PM me and I will give you a deal on a set.

I think those should be: red(black), orange(grey), yellow(white)!

yeah, I only gave the link to show that various things are possible, and I haven't done the coin parts though one day want model these to as want to do clear ones and other colours as well but too many projects at the moment
May I humble suggest you to drill for the third magnet? It's the right time to do this, and if you don't plan to install it now you can still install only the iron core
this game is going to be incredible, what I believe to be the best pinball machine in existence. I would love to have this, thanks for sharing this project for us to enjoy
Quoted from GAP:Lets try this again. Wasn't happy with the first printing. Some art was blurry in sections.
Oh no!!! All that work!
Have you thought about maybe whiting out the wood? Or blacking it out? I think it looks tremendous as is... but the game will be so perfectly black and white aside from the yellowish wood. Then again, once populated I’m not sure how much wood will show... aside from the shooter lane.

Good point!

Makes sense. I'd be fairly picky about this, too. It's worth doing right from the start.
One suggestion I might make is to see if the printer folks can make the black what's called a "process black". It uses all four colors(CYMK) and gives you a very rich, deep black. The current black on there looks slightly lighter that the paint, powder coat, and decals. It may or may not work well on the gradient transitions to the white, it kinda depends on how the printer lays down the ink.
Also, I agree with the idea of putting down white in the bare wood areas. It helps "complete the illusion", so to speak.
There's a guy over here with a repro TZ playfield with ink problems that's looking to get rid of it, if you were thinking about making a second one of these (or wanted another playfield for experimentation):

I have a Centaur playfield like that, looks pretty damn cool.
Quoted from GAP:Reprinted the playfield. Came out perfect. Went from bi directional printing to single direct printing, made a world of difference.
Looks fricken Awesome!! With a decent clear that art will Pop!!! You the Man Mike!!
