Quoted from Ky8530:...suggestions on what your first mods you would do to the machine if it was yours. ..
If it were mine I wouldn't add any; YMMV.
I'd do:
Playfield plastic protectors (available in your choice of colors or clear from several vendors)
Speaker lights - gotta do the ones from SpeakerLightKits
Lighted flipper buttons (several vendors)
Real Knocker (several vendors)
Trim completion decals from Tilt
Full color shooter plate from Tilt
Matching Pingulp from Tilt (if you do PinGulps)
Quiet Fan from Pin Monk (wait until you hear the Black Knight start vacuuming inside his castle)

TheRudyB THIS IS HILARIOUS. The Knight likes to keep a clean Castle! It is amazing how loud the fan is when you are in a quiet room.
I take it there's not really much in terms of game specific mods though? I'm not a huge fan of toppers but that is very cool.
I love the topper. THe stern rail armor and shooter rod are alright too. I always do lit flipper buttons, I think they look much better than stock white/red ones.
Then protection. cliffy's for things like the drain, trough, shooter lane and where balls drop from ramps. He may have more for that game. The suggestion for plastic protectors is good too, if you want to protect them and keep the game a while
Quoted from Captainhook:I get these bumper caps and flipper caps from Hocked on pinball.[quoted image]
Captainhook ORDERED THE FLIPPER TOPPERS. They look awesome!
for me it would have to be the Stern BKSOR topper, shooter plate, and Gameblades

I can honestly say if I had a BK:SoR LE, a Deluxe 5.25" SPIKE 2 Speaker Light Kit from http://www.speakerlightkits.com would be the very first mod I would put in.
With the decorative speaker surrounds that come on many of the LE games (including this one)......it's almost like they were supposed to be lit.
Doug (SpeakerLightKits.com)
That is really cool. Honestly curious why stern didn’t do this unless “cost”. I didn’t like that only the right flipper had all the balls returned to it
This one is not a big mod, but I think they look fantastic on that game.

Anyone installed the Stern side armors yet?
Quoted from DugFreez:...or you could get crazy and put a Deluxe 5.25" Speaker Light Kit in a Deluxe Speaker Light Kit.

I ordered it! Gonna get crazy.

Doug’s speaker light kits are amazing. I have then on most of my machines!!! The new light kits are super cool!!!
Quoted from northvibe:THe stern rail armor and shooter rod are alright too.
Does anyone have any pictures of the BKSOR side armor installed on any model? I’ve been very reluctant to consider these for my Premium until I’ve seen actual pictures of them installed on a game.
Quoted from Clint12:Sat an eat cheese who makes that topper?
Stern, but it's not out yet. Apparently Steve Ritchie said they're trying to have it available for Christmas

There was one of the BK:SoR toppers at the Pincinnati Show and I saw it at Expo also. I heard they were still working on the coding for it, but I didn't spend enough time at each show to see if there were many big changes from mid October to late November. It looks great and is easily the most impressive topper I have seen in my opinion.
I would offer one suggestion on it for the game's code. It would be nice if the call outs that the topper was intended to be saying, would have a separate volume setting. Just so you could boost it up a little bit if you wanted so you could distinguish what was supposed to be coming from the topper. A separate speaker in the topper would have been ideal, but you can't have it all and it seems great as is.
Anyone make a 3D catapult mod to cover the sticker art on the catapult, in the same way the AC/DC cannon mod replaces the sticker graphic cover with a 3D cannon?
Pin Stadium fusion lights!!! I just installed them yesterday. Shout to Pin Stadium for ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE customer care! They make such a huge difference.
Comet fire LEDs.
If you just want a couple, do the slings only - just 4 fire LEDs needed.
If you want to go all the way like I did, you’ll need 22 of them.

Quoted from SeaLawyer:Yeh, those are awesome!! I don’t know if I can justify covering up my LE blades, though...
thanks!..You know you can put these over your stock blades and it won't ruin them.. just in case you were wondering..
