When I was looking around for ideas on how to led my Black Knight 2000 there were not many examples. I didn't want the bright white leds, I had them on a previous black knight, they look sweet but were blinding on bk2k. I didn't see alot of examples of machines with warm white so I thought I'd post mine.
For the most part the general illumination is Optix Maximus warm white, the inserts and backbox are twin 2835 smd frosted warm white.
Overall I like how it turned out it keeps some of the original charm with the lights being a similar color as incandescent.
If you have a machine done in all warm white please post a picture of it her, having references for future led conversions will be helpful.

I adjusted the brightness of the camera for some of the pictures to get a more accurate depiction.

For reference here is my old Black Knight 2000 with bright white optix max. The leds are from comet.

Wow! Someone posting an LED job that doesn't look disgusting and crazy.

You managed to give the game good illumination without changing to feel of the game.

Nice.

For Colors, are agreed, but just check the lightning wheel or a high speed center speedo as a swiping effect, the leds still can not fade out, due they technology, and they made all of the moving lights show unplanned and "digital" i mean leds are on and off, while the normal bulbs like analog they warm up and cool down, which was in the time calculation in the effect list timing.
Or on other F14's two arrow row. Hope in the future some modeed rom, and special voltage lovering leds will be introduced, or something like this, to solve this issue.

My personal experience, you can buy cheap or expensive leds, you can play with the colors, you can get more richer colors but they will looks and feel "I miss something, or nut feel natural" ,but yes in the choise of the right led can be brighter, but the big loss is the effect what i mentioned above. (And not talking about the soo much variants between the many many type and brand of leds on the market, you can get soon crazy when you want to buy leds without trying them it)

So my plans for the future try out natural white leds as GI, and keep the controlled lamps as 44. or 555.

But for especially BK2K the big inserts looks even more brighter with dual head or brighter leds, but any brighter replacement for the 555? OR any opinion to increase brightness of the big bolts?
