When I get three balls into the drawbridge lock MultiBall starts as it should however the jackpot screen seems to display. Oddly in certain cases if after MultiBall starts and the drawbridge goes up then it will display jack pot correctly and play the jack pot theme as it should. Any thoughts on what that could be. Nothing gives me a warning during start up. Also is there a way to know what version of the rom I have. I was wondering if this was a bug in the code for earlier roms.

I found it . There are three micro switches that sit on the upper ball lock. The bottom two would engage everytime. The highest or top ball lock would only engage every now and then. Apparently the ramp switch once triggered on the third time if two of the balls are locked will trigger MultiBall regardless of if all three ball lock switches were engaged. If anyone of them is not engaged you will still get MultiBall but as soon as it starts it will end with no jackpot. As long as all three of those switches register as they should MultiBall will work without issue. As a note to adjust that micro switch all I had to do was gently bend the switch a bit until I could make sure the micro switch got engaged everytime. Now it seems to be working without issue.
