Players condition Black Knight 2000 for sale.

$800 as-is or $1000 with unopened CPR Plastics set (will not sell this seperately if the machine sells without it).

Will respond to PM's and e-mails in the order they are received.

W-I-N and W-A-R inserts all have lifting to some degree, with the "A" insert up enough to cause ball sticking. Lower playfield is better, but mylar has bubbling (as most do).

Has an issue where when you activate the magna save, the kickback energizes (and stays that way until the magna save stops). Not sure if this is a switch matrix issue or what, but I could not figure it out.

Cabinet is fair, with scratches on the sides and some woodwork being needed under the front lip (cabinet is not falling apart, but more of a delaminating I would say if that makes sense).

Slingshot plastics are broken.

Games boots fine and plays fine other than the kickback issue.

Machine has prototype PinScore displays in it which work 100%.

Located in Quakertown, PA. Zip code 18951 - Located in my basement, will need to come up 11 steps. Please note: I can NOT help load this due to recent surgery.

Feel free to ask any questions, and again, I will answer in the order they are received.

Game play video:

Photos (these are from a few months ago, but I can get newer ones if needed.

You heard it here first folks, BK2K is an $800 game

Seriously though this is going to be one hell of a deal for someone, I imagine it will sell really quick. GLWS!

Why did I just buy a game last weekend? I would've already hit the highway. Someone's gonna get a great deal on like, the best game.

OK, at this point there are 5 people in line.

I think it is safe to say this will be claimed at this point.

The first one to PM me will be coming by this evening to look at the machine,. If they refuse, I will go in the order that I got PM's until the machine is claimed.

Please note - I will NOT take a deposit from someone further down the line until I get to that position. I will NOT take more for the machine to sell it out from under someone else. That is not how I would want to be treated, and that is not how I treat people.

Sorry if that sounds harsh but if you don't like it then oh well.

I think this is a good deal for someone and want to respect the order that the requests came in.

Thanks,
Chris

^^^^^^. Now why can't all sellers be like this? That's class right there. Thumbs up to that

#9 5 years ago

Yes ,Chris I wish more were like you.

#10 5 years ago

Oh c'mon Chris do what I would do… do I hear $900? Now $950, $950… do I hear $950

#11 5 years ago

Good condition or not, this is a smokin' deal. If it was closer I would already be at his house loading it up.

His name says it all. Silver Unicorns are pretty rare. Props to this seller. His approach and the price.

Here I thought it was a Blade Runner reference...

The machine has been claimed by the first person who had sent me a PM.

Thank you for all of the interest. May be listing more in the future depending on the medical bills

Yes, it did.

Chris

#21 5 years ago

Hopefully it didnt go away too far

#22 5 years ago

It did not, and I have a buyback option should things get better. I will leave it at that unless the buyer wishes to disclose.

Chris

#23 5 years ago

This is why I need to check in on Pinside, daily.

I hope things improve with your health. Always sad to hear someone having to sell a pin due to a unfortunate circumstance. Get well soon, and seriously the way you handled the sale of that was exemplary.

Thanks for the kind words, PM's, and support. It really means a lot.

I feel great now (other than being sore never felt bad actually), but have some bills that need to get taken care of, That is why I sold the BK2K. The first one to PM me is a local to me collector. He came and looked at the machine, paid my asking price, and said when I had the funds to let him know and I can buy it back at the sale price if I wanted to. No markup. Great guy all around.

So it may be back. Who knows, but it is always an option should things work out Right now priorities have shifted a lot so while it's not something I am looking to do right this moment, it may be an option a few months down the road.

Thanks all!

Well, things did work out, and because someone was true to their word, the game is back home.

I can't express enough how nice some collectors are. Behind all the BS bickering and back and forth slings here on Pinside, some people are good natured, honest people.

Thank you EagleTG.

Now for the next surgery on Dec. 1 and we'll see if anything else needs to go on the block.

Very cool thread. Best wishes and speedy recovery to you!

BK2K is great therapy, Whenever I'm feeling crummy I go play a few games and loose my thoughts in the game, kind of like how your mind spaces out when you are mowing the lawn, It's one of the things I love about pinball, being able to find that zen and letting your mind go and almost playing on a subconscious level.

I'm glad you were able to make everything work out. Every pinsider I have ever met in person has been really cool. I don't know you, but my thoughts of well being go out to you and your family.
