WOW, I sure hope you know what your doing...of course you do otherwise you wouldn't be doing it. Have fun and keep the pictures coming.
It definitely helps to spread it out over 2 weekends. I did my upper first, and played it for a long time before I did the lower.
Wow. Your plastics look so shiny and new. Are they? Or did you just clean/polish? Flame polish? Shopping my BK right now and my plastics don't look nearly as shiny.
Mike
This is my first "full swap", so I'm learning as I go.
I've been repairing and shopping pins for 13 years now, so I should be able to complete this.
plastics are originals, just cleaned and polished them with novus 1.
the white stripes on the play field are reflections from the overhead fluorescents, hard to get good pics because the clear reflects everything.
Just saw this....looks great Dan! I did one of these last year, but didn't clear the PF I had and now seeing yours wish I did! I unfortunately had to do the cabinet stencils too. Hopefully your cabinet is nice!
Great job! Let me know if you need any pics or help!

Just make sure to put mylar over the faces of the drop targets, or you'll be doing them again in a very short time period.
I'd also recommend mylar on the magna-saves and the lane where the ball enters the upper playfield from the shooter.

Quoted from indypinhead:I wish I could find a NOS playfield for my Black Knight.
Your machine really looks sweet!!!
Finding an nos is tough, I'm lucky this one didn't need too much touch up.

I installed the drop stickers yesterday and sealed them with clear varnish.
Should be good on those.
Mylar over clear???? I cleared the playfield to prevent wear, really don't want Mylar anywhere.
Quoted from Nemesis:Your drop targets are clear coated too?
removed them all and scrubbed them with dish soap and a toothbrush.
carefully installed the new stickers and brushed them with some clear varnish.
the varnish seals , protects and adds a little shine.
I can take pics later today, they came out nice.
