    Hi Guys:

    Bingo addict here!

Does anyone remember Italian made Bingo machines, back in the day?

I vaguely remember playing one in Europe. Can't remember if it was Zaccaria or one of the other Italian names.

What I do remember is that when starting a new game, the balls did not dump through a shutter like Bally but, instead, a mechanism would pop up through all 25 number holes, pushing the balls out to roll down the main playfield and the mechanism stayed out until all of the balls were back in their starting position.

I also seem to remember that the numbers on the back box bingo card were digital.

If anyone knows of a link to this type of bingo, I sure would appreciate knowing more about them and seeing pictures.

    Thanks.

    Roger

That sounds like an interesting bingo, hopefully someone will have a photo.

Are you maybe thinking of an Asian bingo like this one? They push the balls up instead of dropping them. The game is much smaller than a regular bingo.

    Thanks, Dennis but no.

Definitely European and I think Italian. It was solid state.

Here's a list of all of the SS bingos in the data base. Too many for me to go thru right now. Maybe you will recognize one of the names. Good luck.

    Thanks, Dennis.

    It's Playmatic Super Win!

Check out the link and zoom in on the flyer.

You will see that the numbers on the back glass are 7 segment LED displays. If I remember correctly, all the numbers were constantly lit at the start of a game and, when you made a number, then that number would be flashing until game end.

It seems Playmatic were a Spanish company and not Italian, as I first thought.
