I'm curious why it took him an entire year to file?

Quoted from Damagio:Interesting development for sure. After watching The King of Kong, I found him to be very unlikeable and very evasive with challengers. No doubt he is an incredible player and hopefully the truth will come out.
After the film came out, there were numerous stories talking about how they had edited the movie to make it seem like he was the “bad guy”. Even Steve Wiebe (sp?), the other competitor is on record saying Billy was real nice and they got along well. Just not enough drama for a film
Quoted from Luckydogg420:I just watched a podcast that mentions Billy Mitchell forgot to renew his webpage license; so someone else swooped in an took it.

Now it just documents Billy’s fraud.
That’s kind of messed up
Quoted from Luckydogg420:Nobody. I think it’s all of the people billy sues for proving that he’s a crook that we care about. He didn’t realize 30 years ago that some future technology would eventually prove he’s a scammer. So he got used to living the life of someone who is important but can’t handle the truth of the situation now that it’s come to light.
It’s like a criminal that thought he was free and clear of his crimes, but then DNA evidence comes along years later to haunt him of his past.
So what happened? Turns out he really did use an emulator ? Or did something else happen?
