Can you also add options for not believing any of it is true? Thanks .

Are you saying it's a matter of trust?

    #52 1 year ago

Pinball “news” must be really slow to be sold this river of dreams.

Quoted from Haymaker:According to everyone's favorite podcaster, the word on the street is that Ritchie's 1st game for JJP will be none other than BILLY JOEL! Get ready for Piano man wizard mode. I've literally joked about a Billy Joel pinball before, never thought it could happen. Are you excited? Concerned? Hopefully its better than Zep, if the rumor is indeed true.

ZMeny did NOT say this!! What other favorite podcaster is there?

    #55 1 year ago

Lol! Never!! Waiting for Black Sabbath or Ozzy pin from Stern. It will be here one day. I can feel it!!!

    #56 1 year ago

Is this JJP’s answer to Sterns’ Golden Girls?

    #57 1 year ago

    Wrong Billy JJP.

We didn't start the price increases
They were always increasing, and the mechanical toy offering has been lowering
We didn't start the price increases
No, we didn't start it, and we didn't try to fight it

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

    LMAO close but no cigar.
Somebody is having a little fun with him.

Well if by “close” you mean geographically, then someone else comes to mind who might elicit a different reaction…or not, in case I will just shuffle off.

    Quoted from PanzerFreak:

Anyone that thinks that I got a Billy Joel pin to sell ya!

    #61 1 year ago

    Billy Joel sounds about right.

JJP probably considers their most recent music theme too edgy and dangerous so they had to tone it down a bit for their next one.

    #62 1 year ago

You had to get the skill shot. Didn’t ya? Easy pass on this one.

    #63 1 year ago

Me the first time I see a Billy Joel pin in the wild if god forbid this is true…

I heard ages ago - like last year - that it was Elton John. No idea if it’s true or not.

Would make a lot of sense. Ancient performer with a million hits. Broad appeal. The EM is one of the most famous and still sells easy. Elton covered PiNball Wizard too.

It’s certainly not Billy Joel that’s a ludicrous idea.

    #65 1 year ago

    Billy Joel ? No Way.

Def Leppard ? Bring on the LE / CE !

    GREAT THEME
Could be fun, how long can you play without being discovered that you were faking it?
    bwahaha

    #68 1 year ago

….Yet somehow I feel Billy Joel CE’s will sell out within seconds

    #69 1 year ago

    Billy who?

    #70 1 year ago

    Billy Joel.

It says it right there in the thread title!

    #71 1 year ago

I would have said there was zero chance jjp would do this theme, but now after seeing the decision to do TS4 over the first 3 toy story movies, I can’t trust them to make wise theme decisions anymore. Absolutely not interested regardless how cool the game is if it’s themed on Billy. Hoping K-man’s info is as wrong as his hype on ts4 being the greatest Lawlor game coming

This is the dumbest rumor yet.

My bed is calling me because BJ makes me sleepy.

    #75 1 year ago

Whoever that’s in charge of licensing at JJP.

    $12000 for a BJ pin?
Eddy could never afford to live that kind of life….
And there we were waving JJ and Richie good bye….

    #78 1 year ago

No , it's Billy who. Whom is an objective pronoun .

A Green Day pin would be great.

An excellent/very funny troll job if true

I might be down with an Elton John pin, that could be fun

    #81 1 year ago

An Elton John pin is marginally better, but not by much. One is more than enough.

12K for a BJ is way too much !

    #84 1 year ago

If they can make Elvis work, they can make Billy Joel work. I’m not the biggest Billy Joel fan but a lot of these reactions come off like a middle school “metal rules, other music drools” mindset tbh!

    #85 1 year ago

I’d rather see Springsteen or Petty first though!

    Quoted from westofrome:

I could get into a Tom Petty pin for sure.

    #87 1 year ago

Likely a fake rumour put out to see if K man was gullible enough to post about it. Unless JJP are genuinely trying to put themselves out of business.

    #88 1 year ago

JJP: “Damnit, now we’re going to need to scrap this theme and reskin it.”

    #89 1 year ago

Is it Billy Joel Part 4? Or the like able 80s Billy Joel.

Or in support of his new album.

God I would hate it if the actually Billy Joel had to read all this. Hear he's a pinguy..

    #90 1 year ago

After reading all of these posts, I kind of hope it is Billy Joel. Just to see what happens…

    #91 1 year ago

    OMG, please no

    #92 1 year ago

They could have games go head to head [think NBA Fast Break], "Dueling Pianos" mode.

Wednesday night I crashed my car and,
Thursday night I crashed my car and,
Friday night I crashed my car again.

Sadly, this is now my memory of Billy:

Aw hello no... that music does not suit pinball at all.

Plus my man looks like a tree frog these days.

    Lol… “Stop lighting the audience”
He’s gonna go batshit when the JJP LEDs kick in

    #99 1 year ago

Would be better than "Ozzy Osbourne" anyway.
    I'm still hoping for a Burt Reynolds-machine.
How about a CANNONBALL or SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT - Pinball?
    There's enough Music-pins already ...

    #100 1 year ago
    Quoted from Mardi-Gras-Man:

How about a CANNONBALL or SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT - Pinball?

I think a pin like Smokey and the Bandit would be great for a company like AP. I just can’t see a company like JJP doing a pin with that theme, but, then again, we are talking about Billy Joel here…. with that being said, I think Smokey and the Bandit has the potential for a lot of fun and good humor.
