The one big flaw in the mod was that the LEDs kept going when the GI was blacked out. For example during strobe multiball. For that reason I think it looked like a not completely integrated mod. Especially if you have Pinbits blackout board, which I do.
The mini saucers do look like they were meant to have the LEDs however.
With the expansion pack the integration is better but somehow I can't get myself to pull the trigger. On the other hand for the same $ I jumped on the colour DMD.
Same with the plexiglass backlit backbox. I just went with a backbox decal instead.
Call me stingy, but I pick and choose my luxuries.
