You’re welcome yet again on this most excellent pinball theme choice Pinside...
BATEA!!! (In the tone of STATION!!!)
Just when you thought all the stupid titles had been done...................lame movie btw................
Quoted from Luckydogg420:Where did you find the graphic?
Quoted from Skyemont:Is this for real?
[quoted image]
Probably not. Looks like a fan mock-up.
Would be fun. Maybe even more so than the fan favorite Goonies.
A time traveling pin hasn't been done well since time machine .
Controllable Circuits of Time ramps/Waterloo ramps are definitely Brian Eddy’s wheelhouse I would think.
I certainly hope it is real, not sure why Deadflip would post it if it was not. At first I thought it was the original table he is building, a one-off, but then I saw the Stern logo. Stern and their reveals, keeping up the crazy ways they announce them.
It's no "Princess Bride" but I'm game First title I've heard Stern working on that's not an immediate pass for me. And if Brian Eddy is the designer... I'm sold.
Franchi posted on DF's cover photo on FB: " How long before this gets taken down? Oh boy. Can o' worms, sir."
Could this be a feeler put out by Stern to drum up solid interest? There's no way Jack would post something to jeopardize his relationship with Stern... I don't see that happening. If this is indeed a marketing tactic, it's brilliant. We won't stop talking about it until it's made. Or, at the very least, given serious consideration.

Maybe it’s fake. Maybe it’s Jacks first design. Maybe Stern figures they can pull profit from smaller run simpler playfields. Who knows! Would be a fun pin, but I think one leg on this pin feels longer then the other.
This is a perfect theme for pinball, cheesy, with the potential for great cheesy art also. Weather you liked the movies or not they are the essence of what pinball is all about. I can see Bill and Ted playing air guitar on the screen while So-Crates dances around to the music.
Quoted from jmulvenon:Looks like a break of NDA...Y I K E S if true.
Jack is way smarter then that.
If Sterns next game is not Munsters but Bill & Ted I'll run into the Dead Flip livestream from DPO and... do something stupid.
It looks like DeadFlip deleted the post? So if it's real it's either a marketing attempt to drum up interest. Or he screwed up Facebook scheduling the post.

To late. I got the pic.
Quoted from BoJo:Probably just something to divert all the Beatles bashing.
It’s done in the real world politics all the time ......... The old re-direct trick.
Quoted from DS_Nadine:If Sterns next game is not Munsters but Bill & Ted
Don't get my hopes up, please.
Quoted from ForceFlow:Probably not. Looks like a fan mock-up.
That’s too damn bad.
CAUSE SAN DIMAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!!!!
I'm gonna guess that it was a gag.
Stern's been known to tease games that they had no intention of making. Anyone remember the Muppets teases from a few years ago?
They probably got Jack to play along this time.
Hope I'm wrong, though.
Bill & Ted's Excellent Pinball Adventure....
"Excellent!"
Made by Stern...
"Bogus!"
(haha i only kid, the Pinside drama police can move onto the next post)
Quoted from fosaisu:Don't get my hopes up, please.
Ok, ok,...
When Beatles is NOT the next Stern game I'll bitchslap Dead Flip on his DPO livestream!
Better?
I'd be shocked if Stern could have kept that under wraps. I'm going to say it was a weird accident or straight trolling for funsies.

But who would do that? Just go on the internet and lie?
Quoted from jmulvenon:But who would do that? Just go on the internet and lie?
Quoted from Spelunk71:Uhh...have you been following current events lately? Lying is all the rage.
Is this like double meta or something?
Wow...haven't seen anything that low quality since AP playfield.
It's basically a sequel to Iron Maiden since Bill & Ted get threatened with execution and confuse the medieval torture device for the band. Coincidence?! I think not!

Now you have my attention. Iron Maiden with Bill & Ted theme...
