When putting on the legs, make sure you have the load of the machine on the legs before you tighten the leg bolts. Leave them slightly loose until you have the machine up on all four and then tighten.

Quoted from Miknan:I learned a TON actually troubleshooting and it feels amazing.
welcome to the hobby. Whether you consider it a necessary evil (and hire someone), or an equally compelling part of the hobby, the machines always take some maintenance. Moving a new machine will typically require some maintenance if only for reseating connectors, inspecting it for condition, or basics like cleaning, rebuilding flippers, and replacing rubber. Some find they don't appreciate this aspect of the hobby, and simply hire someone for maintenance. Nice thing about the hobby is that you can pick your level of involvement, and there are some who are only players and never want to lift the hood.
As others mention, if you decide to dig around inside, be patient, methodical and logical with any troubleshooting. Combined with even a basic knowledge in electronics, you'll find you can tackle problems you thought yesterday impossible to approach. And, of course, there are many here who will steer you in the right direction.
