I just bought a Big Top pinball machine (used of course, on Offerup, from a lady who owned it for a few years). It largely works ok, except for one weird issue:
While playing, at some point, the Reset and Ball Lift buttons will stop working. They won't do anything.
The only way to get things going again is to use the reset buttons on the back of the board. There are three red buttons - one controls the score, one the light bulbs, and one, I guess, the Reset/Lift.
If I press the third one first, nothing happens.
But if I press the other two before the third one, and then the third one, then there's a "ding" (like you turn the game on) and it's back to running again.
Also - am I causing any damage by pressing these three buttons?
I know electronics pretty well, can solder, use a multi-meter, etc. So feel free to give me technical direction.
