A big thank you to Dave Hoover for setting me up with Gottlieb Melody. I've looking for one for years. It was also great to meet Dave and see his collection! Awesome guy!
    Thanks again Dave!

    Hoov for president!

Hoov is a great guy. Picked up my Williams Pitch & Bat from Dave and it was exactly as advertised (if not a little nicer). He does have a lot of games, wish I had more time when I was up there to play more.

Yup, great guy. Supplied me with a needed backbox for my Royal Guard project.

    Thanks guys!

Very nice meeting you and your wife Collin, and anyone that would drive from Texas to Illinois to get a pin is ok in my book!

    #7 8 years ago

I think Hoov is a very nice guy.

Great seller, person & friend on the other side of the world.

I only met him once. Have nothing bad to say about the guy.

    Hoov is Da Man!

Part of the Pinside core for sure!

Anyone named Dave can't be all bad.

Dave has to be the most popular first name in our hobby, but it seems like a lot of guys who own some kind of pinball related business or service are named Steve.

    #15 8 years ago

Steve's you do need to watch! They change the v's to ph's, and the e's to a's, all to throw off the trail.

I know at least 3 Steves that run pinball businesses

Talked to PBR Steve today and he seemed to be in good spirits, so it was a pleasant conversation.

Once you get more than 1, they stop hurting so much!

The EM crowd are easily the best people in pinball.

I'm an early 80's solid state guy mostly,

but wedgeheads and weird Bally's are the best!

    P.S.
EM-PINMAN is to blame for getting me started in this hobby...

    Hoov is in the groove!
I don't know what that means but it sounds positive!
