Just starting to work on this Big Indian, main problem currently is the bonus unit coil will not stop firing and the score motor will not stop running. I can't seem to find the path for this circuit to trouble shoot the problem. I got this pin non working and no information about its history, the playfield and back glass are almost perfect.

The "Add Bonus" coil or the "Subtract Bonus" coil? Depending on which is 'firing', the debug path is different.

Also see if the Q relay is activate. That's the Bonus Score relay, and a switch there will cause the score motor to run. And also check the zero position switch on the Bonus Unit, to see that it opens when the Bonus Unit has reached zero (if it's subtracting).

These will be shown on the schematic, to find the logic paths involved.

Thanks for the information, I will try and follow the drawings to check the paths, I am still learning how.

I think what dirtflipper means by "path" is strategy, not electircal circuit. If it's the step down coil, the bonus unit zero switch is out of adjustment.

I do mean circuit. But the schematic shows the logic for the circuit, and not so much a literal wiring diagram, so I settled on "logic path" instead of circuit.

Still need to know whether the Bonus 'firing' is adding or subtracting, and then go from there.

This is the coil that keeps firing, I am not clear if it adding or not?

that's the subtract coil. So if you manually actuate that so that the Bonus Unit steps back down to the zero position, check to make sure the zero position switch is opening.

Its stepping back and opening switch, I am going to follow the circuit and clean up as I go, there is lots of grud on the bottom board and the jones plugs need some TLC. I will keep you posted.
Thanks

You nailed it DF, I got it all cleaned up, plays great its a very challenging game, one issue so far is that it will only play a two player game, no 3rd or 4th player, the game is set to free play. I am going to play a lot more before I open it up again lol.. thanks for the help.

I just fixed this problem on an Aztec. The leaf switch on the coin unit that opens at four players was on the wrong side of the post. It was bent down and closed at 1 player, then at 2 player the post rotated up and the switch opened...no more players. I got the leaf on top and adjusted it so the post opens the switch at four players. That solved that issue.

Thanks for the tip, I will try and check out today.

Got sometime this morning to check above, everything is ok with the switches. Before I open up I am going to try and get some leads.
Thanks
