After 5+ years searching, I finally got my Big Game this weekend!
Does anyone have a current source for ball guide A-655? Pinball Resource told me they're sold out.

Quoted from cottonm4:You will need to make some. Scroll up to post #601 and start reading down to your post #625.
Haha, can't believe I missed that, literally right above my post. I think I skimmed the first few pages, saw the PBR suggestion, and posted without reading further.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Pretty sure I have a spare set Colin. Can pick them up on the 30th.
Thanks Erik! That would be awesome. Really looking forward to that tournament!

Are you going to show us some pics of your Big Game?
I think I could manage that.
Please excuse the mess - lots of projects going. The guy I bought it from has a nicer playfield that I'll be picking up soon. Really pleased with the backglass and cabinet. Love this game! Need a flipper rebuild, I think, as the right flippers are weak.

Any thoughts on what the issue could be? I understand general diagnosis and repair of lamp issues, but it seems like there may be issues specific to the early lamp boards on this title, so I figured I may as well ask
Quoted from chuckwurt:I would make sure the common wire (the one attached to the box and not any specific socket) is getting power. Other than that, tough to get those sockets working reliably.
Hey Erik, would you say I'm better just buying those new lamp boards (assuming they're still available) than dicking with the existing boards?
I can see the common wire - the blue one, I think - is attached just fine, and I don't see any breakage or anything else to make me suspect a wiring problem. I'm assuming it's just daisy-chained between those bingo cards, as that looks to be the case.
Realizing my game may be a bit of a basket-case electronically - the slam tilt wire was removed from J3 on the MPU, and the game resets when it's reinstalled. Not sure if I've got a bad diode at one of the slam tilt switches. But the game is clearly a bit jerry-rigged
Quoted from FantasticPinball:I really appreciate the input, thank you.
FYI, the prototype playfield is cut and I am waiting for the test print. Protoboard will be cleared and perhaps installed into a machine to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Can't wait! Big Games tend to have very well-loved playfields, moreso than many of this era

Beautiful! Just messaged you in hoes of getting added to the list.
Whats the price on these?
