For those of you wondering, bgresto hooked me up with an awesome backglass for my Nitro Ground Shaker. The game is in pieces now so I couldn't snap a picture of it illuminated but here are a couple pictures of the glass that bgresto sent, along side my thrashed original.

Wow looks really nice!

Seeing it on the doorstep this afternoon was a good motivator to get my butt moving and clean the Mylar glue off the playfield

Oh yes.......it's on now! Time to play some Nitro!

I am thinking about doing this with my Sorcerer backglass. All the stuff i have seen from these guys looks pretty damn close to original. I am wondering how the lighting will shine through on these new glasses.

How much was it? I'm looking for a NGS backglass?

Looks very nice. Could you please share some photos of the glass installed in the game with the GI lit up?

Bally had the best backglasses! They don't have Paragon backglasses do they?

Nevermind, I see they have it listed. I wonder if it is better quality than the CPR one.

NGS is one of my favorite backglasses and I love the theme as well.

It was around $230 shipped. $180 for the glass and $50 for shipping. It was VERY securely packaged.

Unfortunately the playfield is mostly taken apart at the moment so I haven't been able to take any photos of it illuminated. I'm sure it will be slightly more opaque than the original when illuminated (they state this clearly on their website) but I'm not super fussy and think it looks incredible.

In general I think even Steve at bgresto would admit that silk screening is superior to the process bgresto uses. CPR's paragon backglass may be an exception though. From what I've read, some folks weren't too happy with opacity of the blacks on CPRs repro glass. It would be interesting to see the two illuminated side by side.

Yes it would. I love CPR's products, but I have seen the Paragon glass in person and I was not impressed.

the translucent areas on my bgresto don't let as much light through as the original glass. you'll have to use LEDs to get the same pr close tothe same amount of light through. small price to pay though.
