Quoted from greatwichjohn:The process for uv inkjet production should be 2 hits color, 2 hits white, & 1 hit blocking (gray or black). I did almost 1000 backglass over the years. The first ones shown at Allentown many years back (10) were only single hits, & looked a little washed out. At that time Charlie was very coy about telling me anything. Rick clued me before I got Gottlieb LLC & Planetary go ahead for licensed production. There are other inks being used now that might only need single hits for production.
Let's get something very straight, you DID not do almost 1000 backglasses, you had printers do almost 1000 glasses for you. You farmed everything out, including having others do the artwork files for you.
BGRESTO, Coos and Shay actually do them themselves.
