if it were summer, I would use two heavy pieces of glass and "sandwich" the plastic between them, leaving them in the sun to warm and flatten out.

pull them in after the sun goes down. I can't remember which pinsider originally posted this (I take no credit), but I can confirm that you'll never ruin a plastic (melt or otherwise distort it) using this method
