I'm interested to know what's the best video mode on a DMD pinball game.
I couldn't find a video of my favorite, which is the Phurba from The Shadow.
Second best? Waterskiers!
One that has not been mentioned and that I like is the Batman forever video mode steering the batmobile.
Quoted from schudel5:Best: Fish Tales
Worst: Tommy
Definitely second your selection for worst.
I've always been partial to Raven Bar on Indy, but find all its video modes to be among the best in all of pinball.
Another vote for The Shadow. Quick, challenging, well animated, and encountered no more than once per game. All the things a video mode should be.
Quoted from Duvall:So many good ones. Love the ones in Black Rose (outswim the shark, knife throw, rigging swing). The spaceships in AFM are reallly fun.
Personal favorite is "Shoot the Dog!" in JunkYard.
I agree Black Rose has multiple video modes that are pretty awesome.
Does Black Rose have the most video modes?

I don't care for video modes, but the Shadow video is the best. It is never easy.
It has the added challenge of making you remove your hand from the right flipper button to shoot the trigger.
Doing so will momentarily clear the screen to make scoring an Extra Ball (or finishing the mode) even possible for me.
You can play it more than once in a game, but you have to reach the Final Battle first. It's unlikely to happen.
Love me some video modes.....I think it’s a perfect mix to break up the pinball action but it’s gotta be something you get only once in a while and difficult which I think AFM is not easy to get all those saucers for extra ball although I’m trying a new strategy to turn them into cows instead of saucers to make it easier
Fish Tales by quite a large margin. Especially with a subwoofer installed. It sounds like WWIII. I own some of the other games mentioned including Shadow and Bram Stokers Dracula and in my view they are not even close to Fish Tales. I think my number two would be Congo, but there are quite a few similar to that where you are dodging objects. I guess I just like the theme of dodging rocks in the river.
